The Swindlers: (in progress) A set of piano pieces that serve as incidental music for a musical/play based on a short-story by Aziz Nesin. Includes ‘All the Rage,’ ‘Rendezvous in Beyoğlu,’ ‘A Business Opportunity,’ and more.
Vignettes(2024):Rhythm studies for late intermediate players. Includes Alchemy, Sailing at Night, Spirals, As Dusk Falls, and Hop, Skip and a Jump
Four Scenes (2024): A set of short pieces for the early intermediate student. Includes: Deep Sea Diving, On the Horizon, Merry-Go-Round, March of the Scarabs
Five to Seven (Toccata) (2023): A lively toccata with shifting ‘aksak’ meters (5/8 and 7/8). Suitable for advanced students whose span only reaches a seventh!
Whirlwinds (Etude) (2023): Constant swirling quintuplets in unusual scale patterns are set in cross-rhythms with a haunting melody. Challenges the player with unusual subdivisions and phasing patterns within tempo rubato.
